My rating and the following refers specifically to the Director’s Sever. I would rate the recent theatrical release five stars.

This director’s crop brought to mind William Faulkner’s line about writers often having to “demolish their darlings” in order to meet the demands of a work’s wholeness and integrity. Evidently, Richard Kelly was forced to raze his darlings with the theatrical release, and the result was halt to perfection, if not perfection itself. The film’s emotional force was stunning; its mysteries challenging; its journey so well-behaved that hitting conclude to glean more popcorn was impossible to do; its soundtrack (to my mind) a tour de force. It worked terrifically as a film experience, being a stunning “whole” work of art. Extras that included Roberta Sparrow’s book were sizable … who really wanted to read the book during the movie anyways? (Which we can now do in the DC.)

Which does not mean a director’s sever had no hope of working. Or even, maybe, revisions to the soundtrack (although I really assume that was sullen business better left untouched) . There were some wonderful scenes deleted from the fresh, mainly between family members, and they didn’t seem major pace-cutters. Fortunately, we do gather those scenes here, but we also accept the overwhelming force of the director’s enthusiasm … and Device too remarkable embedded detail of his personal vision.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Donnie Darko - The Director’s Cut! Click Here

On the upside, there’s a nifty freedom to that enthusiasm which translates well into the Darko world IF you are also eager and into “playing” with Darko. In other words, if you appreciate Donnie Darko already, you may procure this lop a lot of fun. The pacing’s completely blown, and the ending comes across flat compared to the novel. (Kelly gets too detailed and baroque at the waste, thus the impact of the “Excited World” music montage–don’t want to include spoilers–and last scene is severely undermined.) Yet it’s mountainous to have more Darko, however we have to gather it. And I don’t regret buying this.

But if you’ve never seen the novel DVD release, I cannot recommend this DVD position to you over that one. You will probably wonder why a cult ever built up around this film … what anyone saw in it. You’ll be missing that visceral power and compelling wonder that makes movies vast and leaves you wanting to inspect a movie again … immediately, if possible.

Donnie Darko was a miniature miracle of a film that cast a sizable shadow. The director’s lop joins many other films that try for bigness and execute miniature … unless, of course, in Darko’s case, you’ve already seen the light and are into shadow-play.

Donnie Darko is a very profitable movie. Yeah it gets a itsy-bitsy to complicated for itself at times, but it’s though-provoking the entire blueprint through. A very friendly film with a very noble cast. Almost nothing injurious with it. But…

The Director’s Cut: Alright, this version of the film has been criticized by many fans and critics. Often seen as making the film, simple and cheap. I myself do not appreciate it quite as noteworthy as the new, for the above reasons. But by no means does the Director’s Cleave manufacture it a poor movie. I mean heck, I enjoy it. The specials on the dvd are also resplendent expedient.

I mild suggest to you that you spy the unique first, but if you don’t, I wouldn’t misfortune about it. The whole, “The Director’s Cleave is the Worst movie Ever”, isn’t apt. I hope you devour this very favorable movie.

Rating: 4 Stars

I hope this was friendly, thanks for your time.

I missed this film in its theatrical release (apparently it received petite distribution), but since it requires at least two viewings, it’s well-suited for DVD. It’s difficult to record the memoir or even relate it by genre, which shows how new the film is. Simply assign, it’s about time disappear, but it’s about a lot more than that, too.

The acting is consistently outstanding, with a list of famed names in the cast, along with less familiar ones. Jake Gyllenhaal gives an astonishing performance that is so convincing, you forget that he is acting; he IS Donnie Darko. While the epic is mainly told through his eyes, the other characters are surprisingly sympathetic as well. This is not an easy feat for a script to conclude, especially when the viewer must focus so worthy attention on every event. It would have been easy to form a one-dimensional hero and a bunch of villains, but writer/director Richard Kelly doesn’t occupy the easy diagram out.

Instead, we catch a highly sparkling and engrossing film that engages us as distinguished as it baffles us, that injects enough humor to withhold us from stress-overload, and most importantly, makes us want to peruse it again and again, even after we know what’s going on. In this sense, “Donnie Darko” succeeds where other films have fallen short: for example, I enjoyed the complexities of “Memento”, but I was not able to identify or even care very great about any of the characters. The same was right of “The Usual Suspects”. Both are respectable films, but I viewed both from a distance, more analytically than emotionally.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Donnie Darko! Click Here

I did not idea “Donnie Darko” from a distance. I was drawn into the world that it creates, and enjoyed it enough to return more than once. A shining first film from Richard Kelly, who has location a very high standard for himself.

The DVD does bulky justice to this aesthetic movie. The video and audio are worthy, and the extra features are quite thorough. I particularly enjoyed the commentary by Richard Kelly and Jake Gyllenhaal, which I listened to the second time I watched the film. They do a titanic job of helping the viewer to connect the dots. They also include impartial enough of the usual “unhurried the scenes” banter to maintain the commentary from becoming too academic.

This DVD would definitely be included in any “desert island” list that I would ever compile. Strongly recommended!

Any design of media that makes you mediate has succeeded in what it dwelling out to do.Donnie Darko is a film that succeeds on every conceivable level. The script is recent and entirely unpredictable. There isn’t a single bit of action or dialogue, not one frame that can be anticipated. The characters, too, are refreshingly well-conceived and highly novel. And it’s a treat to seek actors we know well (Drew Barrymore, who also produced, and Noah Wyle) stretch well beyond our usual expectations. There is vast humor in this film as well as titanic sorrow. And, ultimately, it’s impossible to say if the entire scenario takes status within the dreams of a intelligent but possibly schizophrenic young man or if, as he so desperately wishes, he has, through physics, managed to reverse time.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Donnie Darko! Click Here

Jake Gyllenhaal gives a delicate performance as Donnie. Even his body language–incurving shoulders, questioning eyes, dangerous smiles–reveal a colossal, searching intelligence. Mary McDonnell gives yet another in a roster of thoughtful portrayals–this time as the despairing mother of luminous and horrified Donnie, simultaneously loving and hating him for being emotionally beyond her arrive. And Jena Mallone is fair improbable, one of the truest, most authentic young actors around today.

This is filmmaking at its best–an adventure for the mind–not to be missed.

The Spirit of St. Louis was a box-office disappointment. That will never change. But what may change is the opinions of critics and the public on how this film should be viewed. It has all of the makings of a successful film: a mountainous director in Billy Wilder, a sage in Jimmy Stewart, and it’s based on the autobiography of an American hero in Charles Lindbergh.

No matter what impress sales were like, it is a well-done film. One cannot direct the fact that Stewart was not the apt age to play Lindbergh, but it doesn’t really prefer anything away from the film. Lindbergh always seemed to be more wise than his age would suggest anyhow.

The VHS version is gorgeous, and until the DVD version is released (if ever) this is the only device to go.

Jimmy Stewart stars as the “Lone Eagle” Charles Lindbergh in Billy Wilder’s film “The Spirit of St. Louis”. This was a film Stewart wanted to invent for years; but was repeatedly turned down. James Dean was even considered for the role. Despite the fact that Stewart was already in this 40’s (Lindbergh was 25 at the time), Stewart’s persistence paid off and Warner Bros. Studios finally relented and let him star as one of American’s greatest aviators. The life of Charles A. Lindbergh is told in a series of memorable flashbacks as he makes his trans-atlantic flight. His life experiences and the people he met along the method are vividly recounted.

On May 20, 1927, at approximately 7:52 in the morning, Charles Lindbergh took off in the “Spirit of St Louis” from Roosevelt Field, Long Island. A crowd of more than 500 must have opinion they had witnessed a miracle as the “Spirit of St. Louis” barely managed to certain the telephone wires at the field’s edge in unpleasant weather conditions. Thirty-three and one half-hours and 3,500 miles later Lindbergh landed in Paris, the first to flit the Atlantic alone. Many mountainous aviators of the time had tried and failed — some even lost their lives in this attempt. Along the map, Lindbergh is forced to conquer his fears, snow, sleet and a lack of sleep to rediscover his faith. On the evening of May 21, at 10:22, “The Spirit of St. Louis” touched down at Le Bourget Field. A crowd of more than 100,000 people were there to greet American’s Lone Eagle. His feat electrified a nation and inspired an interest in aviation. Unfortunately, this film flopped at the box office; but as the years have passed, this film has gained in respect and is now recognized as one of Stewart’s greatest film accomplishments. Delight In!

The singing is astounding (thank you Johnny Gill and Shirley Murdock) and the humor is distinct to brighten your day. Great cast! It’s crazy to glance Jermaine Crawford aka “Dukie” (from the Wire) all grown! The kid is a grand actor and I’m looking forward to explore more from him. Johnny Gill - Quiet sounds large! Gigantic to inspect him again. The play itself was delicate marvelous. The acting, singing, and underlying theme were strong. I would like to search for this play in person with this same cast. This consists of two discs for each film, the recent and an alternate version (more on that below) on the first disk, and collections of approximately 2 hours of featurettes and other bonuses on the second disc. The ninth disc is a hodgepodge of trailers and other items from previous DVD and laser disk versions. Although the extras have been released in a variety of forms over several years (the John Distress documentary ‘The Alien Saga’, being the latest), THIS is the definitive version.

‘Alien’ (average user rating: 4.6) . If you haven’t seen this classic film, then you must be living under a rock. The collection includes the modern theatrical version (which I choose) and the “Director’s Crop”, valuable for its inclusion of the controversial captain-cacooned by alien scene (controversial because from the Alien mythology developed in later films, we know that only the massive queen can lay eggs) . I retract the current (which is actually 1 shrimp longer), and interestingly enough, it appears that Ridley Scott prefers the new as well. The making of featurettes are extensive and snort Giger’s extensive participation and how what was originally expected to receive a b-moive budget became one of the very few examples where Fox studios followed the vision with a classic.

‘Aliens’ (average user rating: 4.7) . This is the only sequel I know of that is rated higher than the new. This time, the “Special Edition” version (also on the previous ‘Alien Legacy’ box status) is a valid experience and exactly is how upstart director James Cameron (who had written the script prior to the release of ‘The Terminator’) wanted to release the film, but was constrained entirely by time limits. The result is additional scenes featuring the colonists and Ripley’s family lost to the time she spent in hypersleep. As with the first installment, the featurettes are inviting and thorough, although the Viet Nam War metaphor is not as thoroughly explored with Cameron as has been in other releases.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Alien Quadrilogy! Click Here

‘Alien 3′ (average user rating: 3.2) . As a fan of the franchise, this was perhaps the most anticipated fraction of this novel box space. The “working print” of the film (the longest of all the versions here, and complete with subtitles for missed sound editing), adds a depth to the film that was not in the novel. That is, the arrival of Ripley and the characters are covered remarkable more thoroughly, the alien creature is begotten by an oxen with a distinguished more modern contemplate, there is an additional space twist arising from the nature of the inhabitants (criminally delusional), and there is no riduculously-timed chest-burster scene at the waste. Smooth, the film is a flawed masterpiece. The film is better appreciated in light of the terrible station first-time director David Fincher had been placed in - not the least of which is an incomplete script during production and a plot that had already been constructed for the ill-conceived “wooden planet/monestary” vision of the previously assigned director. In this sense, the three production featurettes approach across as almost an apology/tribute to Fincher. (NOTE: Fincher is the only director who is not interviewed on the box dwelling.)

‘Alien Resurrection’ (average user rating: 3.0) . What happens when you effect the French director of ‘Amelie’ (Jean-Pierre Jeaunet) in charge of an alien movie? Well, foreign/art movies were all the craze in the last 1990s, so . . . Fox studios conception, “Why not? ” In the extinguish, many fans of the franchise did not bask in the obviously satirical slant on this final installment. The opening scene and ending scenes (the only additions of substance) on the extended version gain the film even more tongue-in-cheek. Despite the French director and crew’s certain regard for the current ‘Alien’ (as documented in the featurettes), armed with the return of Sigourney Weaver and the addition of superstar Winona Ryder, the director ultimately made a quirky, campy action film. But in the ruin, it was the last quarter of the script that makes this the weakest of all the installments by far. Postscript to Fox studios: if you had given Fincher this powerful creative freedom, you would have have a third masterpiece.

There’s a LOT of stuff in this box location. Almost too grand, really. You could exercise a couple of weeks watching and reading all the extras, commentaries, script drafts, etc. But by then you would have deconstructed the films so remarkable that you have robbed them of whatever “innocent viewing pleasure” you enjoyed before you delved into the minutiae of the extra features.

So it is a double-edged sword: Learn more than you ever concept you would about the 4 “Alien” films, but suffer having to study them from then on and forever more through the filter of “colorful too powerful behind-the-scenes info” & “curtain-pulled-back-on-the-Wizard” insider perspective.

That said, it is a genuine treat to have this collection, even though the fourth film was abominably disappointing. The packaging, which opens to a nearly five foot long foldout, is kind of shapely but soon grows cumbersome and irritating. When you unfold it the first time, it is like “Hey, gaze what THIS thing does!”. But after a while, when you fair want to retrieve a single disc for some occasion, it has evolved to “Okay, okay, I acquire it - it’s long. Objective gimme the humdrum disc already!”

For “Alien” fanatics, this is a must-have. I don’t have the “Alien Legacy” place, so I can’t compare them.

I especially like the DTS sound on two of the films. DTS always brings a recent dimension to the listening experience that the still-great Dolby 5.1 doesn’t.

Don’t complain about the note, either. You derive your money’s worth in spades, and you effect on tax and gain free shipping if you order it online (from the lawful vendor) . Besides, even if the stamp is a bit too steep for you, that amount of your money would have been lost to the sands of time soon enough anyway. Might as well exhaust the money and have something frosty to exhibit for it.

I hope you will forgive me when I speak you I have a crushing headache as I write this review. Why? Because I devoted several hours of this sunny day thinking about not one, but two, of Albert Pyun’s films. Pondering the importance of “Ticker” and “Cyborg” to the cinematic world wore me out in ways I would not believe possible. Pyun, if you are not familiar with his oeuvre, constructed his B movie credentials by releasing such classics as “The Sword and The Sorcerer,” “Nemesis,” “Mean Guns,” and “Postmortem.” He’s a hack’s hack in the hack world of zero budget schlock. Not to pound you over the head with it, but watching a Pyun film often resembles in no small contrivance craning your head out the window to gaze that car accident on the freeway. Initially, you are intrigued by what you might examine only to realize later how coarse you feel as a human being for looking at scenes of abject dismay. Ok, I am exaggerating slightly. “Cyborg,” the 1989 film that launched the dubious career of Jean-Claude Van Damme, is one of Pyun’s better efforts. In fact, it is one of the few movies in his canon I can study on a regular basis and not feel too badly about it the next day.

Here’s another film dealing with life in a post-apocalyptic world. Gibson Rickenbacker (Van Damme) arises from the ruins to play the section of a Agreeable Samaritan. He tries to assist survivors of a plague hover from the ruined cities to the countryside, hopefully so they can reconstruct some semblance of a normal life. Rickenbacker, as the hero, of course has an dreadful memory of one of his missions. He tried to keep a family and ended up falling in adore with a woman. You don’t need me to spell out what happened next. Ever since this glum incident, Gibson struggles with what he should do next. When he runs into a woman named Pearl Prophet (Dale Haddon), a cyborg attempting to carry a cure for the plague benefit to the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, he must determine whether to resume the role of hero. Why not remove fragment in helping Pearl carry the antidote? This mission could turn Rickenbacker into the savior of the world. Unfortunately for Rickenbacker and Pearl, Fender Tremolo (Vincent Klyn), a scary looking dude with peculiar eyes and a mechanical squawk, and his gang of like-minded cyborgs have their absorb ideas. They reflect if they can buy Pearl and rep her to Atlanta, they will control the future of the world.

When Prophet falls into the hands of Tremolo’s gang, Rickenbacker decides to obtain her benefit. With the support of a mouthy young lady he picks up along the arrangement named Nady Simmons (Deborah Richter), Gibson lurches from one violent confrontation to another. Thugs topple to the ground like leaves as the two pursue Tremolo with malevolent intent. Numerous showdowns in burnt out and broken down buildings provide Pyun and Van Damme with plenty of opportunities to showcase martial arts madness. Kicks, punches, and blunt and tantalizing instruments-anything you can assume of that will cause hurt to a human or cyborg body finds a consume in this movie. And for the most piece Pyun carries off the action well, remarkable better than he has in many of his other movies. You are surprised that you actually root for this guy who speaks English like he honest walked off a boat. Before feelings of giddiness carry you away, however, you need to reconcile yourself with a few of the cheesy aspects of the movie. Nearly all of the characters are named after musical instruments, the outfits recognize like the film crew robbed a Unusual Wave band’s wardrobe closet, and the dialogue tends towards the insipid. Aloof, “Cyborg” entertains as few Pyun films do.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Cyborg! Click Here

“Cyborg” works largely due to the gritty, blasted urban background that the characters recede through. It is here, in the ruins of civilization, where most of the action takes station. Moreover, the describe quality of the film (probably as a result of bad film stock) has a dirty recognize to it, which actually gives the movie a better, more realistic atmosphere. I even plan Pyun tried to inject a philosophical statement in the film (yeah, suitable) when we eye Rickenbacker staked to that ship’s mast. Is Gibson a Christ figure “rising” from the grave to abet set the world? Maybe, but I’m probably reading more into “Cyborg” than the director intended. Determined, the acting could be better-lots better-and the fight scenes are a dinky over the top, but why else would you sight this movie? You don’t inquire of Oscar performances and you don’t score them. What you do rep is an challenging arrangement to utilize eighty plus minutes (the movie doesn’t hurry for even an hour and a half) .

The DVD version is strictly bare bones. If memory serves me correctly, the only extra on this disc was a trailer. Too poor, but a bit surprising considering this is officially a cult classic. It’s though-provoking to trace that none other than Cannon, the company that released TONS of shameful budget action flicks in the 1980s, helped fund this difficulty. Charles Bronson benefited from Cannon’s attentions encourage then, so why not Van Damme? I recommend “Cyborg” not only to fans of action films, but even to fans of science fiction since the movie takes a stab at incorporating both elements under one umbrella. Is it shiny cinema? Nope, but who says it needs to be?

Restore it? Why?!

this movie rocks!.. it has some AWESOME fight scenes, really well done. They may not be overly skillful (i don’t even deem Van Damme is an overly skillful martial artist unlike Jet Li, Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee) But he has the ability to earn his fight scenes honest “gape” so damn chilly!

There are so many “icy” moments in this film

eg.

-Van Damme does the splits between 2 walls and waits for one of the pirates to sprint under him, before killing him with his kickass knife

-Van Damme and one of the pirates leer each other off from a distance in a factory.. then rush pudgy pelt at each other screaming, then win in an awesome knife fight (icy exhaust of slow-mo too)

-the first appearance of Van Damme in the film is basically unprejudiced a shot of his leg out of nowhere executing an awesome roundhouse kick to the face of the abominable guys (soo cold)

and so many more quality scenes

As some-one who is given to regularly reviewing the works of Ken Russell (against my better judgement), a completely (often deliberately) misunderstood and unjustly derided film-maker, you eventually come some kind of review-brick-wall; a point from which it’s impossible to progress any further.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Lisztomania! Click Here

‘Lisztomania’ is Russell’s MOST misunderstood and MOST unjustly derided motion picture; I’ll bet worthy filthy lucre he laughed like a drain while he shot it.

If ever a film, plight packed with fabulously garish and disrespectful visuals, was designed and clinically executed with the sole purpose of goading pompous, humourless, over-reverential critics - ‘Lisztomania’ is definitely it.

Where else can you inspect iconic composer Richard Wagner grow a pair of vampire fangs; build an Aryan monster (Thor - played by overblown organ-obsessive Rick Wakeman!) stage a thoroughly nightmarish ‘Rape of the Rhine Maidens’ with the perpetrator sporting a Star of David tattoo (on his forehead!!) ; deny innocent exiguous kiddies anti-Semitic rock songs about ‘Teutonic Godheads’; die; return from the grave as Frankenstein’s monster with a Hitler moustache firing an huge guitar/machine gun at a spaceship plump of his and Franz Liszt’s ex-lovers who are trying to bomb him?

Buy,Download, Or Stream Lisztomania! Click Here

You can’t…

Only (and distinguished, mighty more), in ‘Lisztomania’.

See Ringo Starr as the Pope: “Raped at gunpoint? ….well it happens to the best of us my son”.

Gasp at the brilliantly unfeasible nudity; reel at the disgraceful marrying of pretty classical pieces with uncouth rock lyrics; plunge on the floor and roll in the mud as Roger Daltrey’s hair miraculously changes from 70’s curly-perm to straight shoulder-length half-way through the film - making a mockery of any attempt at continuity…

And I’m objective scratching the surface.

‘Lisztomania’ is one of the most engrossing films ever made; it’s also one of Russell’s most autobiographical as well as the most historically legal of all his biopics.

None of this matters a jot - I’m fair trying to explain the pneumatically opinionated excess and comically distorted abandon with a fact or two; give the delirium some gravitas and worthiness…

Ken won’t thank me - likewise those tediously lifeless classical music bods who will never realize that the art they so revere and champion was of its time populist and often reactionary - won’t thank him.

‘Lisztomania’ is Ken Russell slowly raising a middle finger to the critic, to the elite and to the church among (many) others.

Unfortunately, when mega-conservative David Puttnam and his un-enlightened, un-prepossessing cohorts realized what Russell was doing with the money they were giving him…they didn’t give him any more, and without the backing of Lord and Lady Muck at the BFI he never again achieved the kind of artistic success as his insane 70’s period.

He’s made pleasurable films, but never really re-captured that desperate energy and swagger he possessed in such abundance.

Those responsible should hang their heads in shame; as the limo drops them at yet another red carpet event celebrating ‘the Bank Job’, ‘Four Weddings’, ‘Notting Hill’ or whatever lumpen mush is passing for British movies these days.

They won’t, but the fact ‘Lisztomania’ exists at all, will help to remind them that Britain could once turn out a trusty film and not fair a dispassionate formula.

One can never understand the humor and spirit in this movie if one does not understand Cantonese or has not lived in Hong Kong. This is meant to be a light-hearted comedy! The dialogs are filled with contemporary everyday Hong Kong slangs! When translated into English, they may seem unimaginative and out-of-place, but the movie uses these dialogs ON PURPOSE to do a brillant level of mocking humor. This is not meant to be an memoir, but a very delectable movie by all means.

Perhaps the one flaw with “wire-fu” movies is that they tend to prefer themselves too seriously — humor is glowing mighty absent from movies like “Hero” or “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.” That isn’t a plight with “White Dragon,” a droll microscopic action/romance flick that never quite gets serious. Not too mighty, anyway.

Black Pheonix (Cecilia Cheung) is an average airhead schoolgirl — she thinks about her looks, school, clothes, her looks, the delicate second prince, and her looks. But when the musty hero White Dragon (Nay Suet) is injured, she bestows her powers on Dismal Pheonix. And a poor case of acne, which White Dragon assures her can be cured by doing righteous deeds.

Pheonix is starting to delight in her fearless alter ego — White Dragon Jr. — when she is called on to assume the blind assassin Chicken Feathers (Francis Ng) . But she breaks her leg during the fight, and to her surprise, Chicken Feathers brings her to his home and nurses her attend to health. Now Pheonix must construct a choice — put the blind outlaw, or wed the hunky prince?

When watching this film, do not remove it seriously, unless it wants to be taken seriously. The first half of it is an unabashed joke — where else could you eye an frail Chinese musician shatter her lute, while the audience does the wave? McDonald’s, baseball, designer handbags, and Latin pop tunes all procure name-dropped over the course of the movie. And when Pheonix gets her powers, a downloading bar appears on the bottom of the conceal.

The set sags a bit when Pheonix and Chicken Feathers use time together at his cottage, and you commence wondering when the status will catch animated again. And when it does, some of the humour has gone, as a broken-spirited Chicken Feathers wanders aimlessly through the town. Then it kicks into high gear again, with assassination plots, whirling fight scenes, and a qualified finale where everything falls into residence at last.

While there are moments that smack of cutesiness, like the “my only aged plot is you” line, the savor triangle is a remarkably sweet one — both Chicken Feathers and the prince are nice guys, and it’s easy to look how Pheonix would be torn between them. And some twists are unusually sweet ones, such as the plan of Pheonix’s flute music allowing Chicken Feathers to “seek” the stars.

Cheung is the star as a girlish, selfish airhead, who is unexpectedly called on to be a hero — a sort of selfish Robin Hood (”Please don’t scar my face!”), who throws tantrums when she doesn’t earn her design. Her Pheonix is mammoth fun unprejudiced to see. But she can also play a more poignant section. And both Ng and Lei Liu give unbelievable performances as the rival lovers.

Pop-culture martial-arts are the order of the day in “White Dragon,” an unabashedly humorous comedy that also turns in some poignant romance and solid action.

Dear Customer Service: Thank you very great for this fantastic historic characterize of the Martin 130, China Clipper, as it opened the Pacific to aviation in 1935 with Pan American Airways. Juan Trippe, the president of Pan American, had gargantuan foresight along with his successful business management ability. Pan American status

the standard for all airlines in the many years of it’s

existence. This astounding tribute to the entire Pan American Airways organization is a mighty achievement.
